One Photograph: Rosie in the Fall
Fall came late last year in Northern California. The leaves took forever to change and they were still falling in December when I took this shot of Rosie in our neighborhood park.
I like this photograph. It was late in the day so the shadows were running long. The mood was quiet and relaxing. I just let Rosie wander about, doing what dogs do and I clicked off a few shots with my Nikon F100 and Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5 - 5.6 ED IF AF-S VR zoom on CineStll 400D.
This year, the leaves are just beginning to change, so it looks like fall might take the same path. And that’s just fine. I have a stash of the new Kodacolor 100 and some 200 too, so I imagine Rosie and I will do some more late afternoon exploring.
